From the "Blue lot" all the way to the stadium all I heard was, "HOUSTON! TEXANS!!, HOUSTON! TEXANS!!"
Fans anticipating the finale.
The Texans took on the Colts and sadly lost. 27-24 to be exact so, it wasn't that bad of a loss. Chad and I at the "Crown Royal Saloon"
However, I have a confession to make...
I am NOT a Texans fan. I'm sorry. I tried but I just can't lie to myself. The ONLY reason I decided to go tailgating and proceed to attending the game was because a good friend of mine, Chad, had invited me and a friend to go. I immediately did not want to go but I remembered that a close friend of mine, Lucy, is a HUGE Texans fan, so I decided to invite her.
I am so glad I did! Even though they're not my team, I had an amazing time! This was my first time tailgating and experiencing a live game. I tried to fit in but accidentally wore the wrong color blue. Oops... I had a wonderful time meeting new people and seeing first hand the dedication fans have was unbelievable. So MUCH dedication and pride!
More than I could ever imagine. I saw masks, hair dye, onesies, and even a few body alterations showing the dedication they had to the Texans. Now, I am not hating against the Texans or their fans, I am so grateful to have been able to celebrate and have a good time with them. I wish the team all the best for the remainder of the season.
Their way or the highway.
